Now we all know how important pre season is, some old 606ers knew that it shaped a season. A 2-1 defeat to a Championship side last close season was the sign of things to come.
Thankfully Big Sam was replaced before he could relegate and bankrupt us, Stevie Kean and Venkys millions will propel us onwards! Just wow, Pele, Maradonna et al have yet to sign on the dotted line and look:

I was thinking about a similar wind up for Shippy now his favourite time of the year has arrived. He must be ecstatic at the moment. 1 win out of 1 pre-season match, we're gonna win the league!
