The most eventful start to the tournament in ages. I was thinking (hoping?) that this Wimbledon we may finally see something other than a Nole-Rafa final but I certainly did not expect Rafa to be gone after R2. Also, Rafa is not the only early round upset we have seen.
So what do we think, should we expect more of the same (maybe Nole and Roger both going out tomorrow?) with further upsets and an unfamiliar SF line-up? Or do we think that the tournament will now settle down, and we will see Federer, Nole, and Murray all advance to the SF with two of them making the final?
I expect we have seen most of the big upsets already and that the tournament will now settle into more routine next few rounds.
Of course, the most routine outcome would now see Murray in the final, so from a British perspective not so routine either.
Storm before calm?

Really intriguing looking bottom half - a lot of guys could make this their breakthrough tournament now.

Tsonga section in particular of interest. I guess the fact that we've had earlier shocks will only minimally increase the chance of shocks in the future, but I do think grass can cause some surprises, and Djokovic and maybe even FEderer could more vulnerable than on hard? Having said that you expect to see one of them in the final.

There's an old saying about Slams.
Best stories in the first week best tennis in the second week.

Nole is not going out in a hurry.
Of the remaining 5, Murray is the weakest link.

Indeed, Federer, Nole and Murray are once again all in the semis. Tsonga is also not exactly coming out of nowhere - after Rafa's departure he was the most likely remaining player to make the SF.
