Mike, buddy ode' pal please don't speak for me, Bowyer was / is a thug who had a reputation before ER & I never ever liked him. I crossed him in a night club in Bristol when Leeds played BCFC in the cup in 97 or 98 ? & he tried it on with my misses, tried sticking his hand up her skirt. Rather than smacking him 1 & causing a scene as there was 6 / 7 of them & just me & 4 of my misses mates, I approached him as a leeds fan then kneed the cn ut in the thigh & warned the poohead. I suspect Bowyer had a rather large brusie on his thigh.

IMO woody just got caught up in something which got out of control.

If it means adding extra quality then yes, because he is a good player, but if it means problems in the team because of his attitude, then no, tough one, he was playing for Doncaster last season for a season, i thought this was done to death a few months ago, is he linked again or something?
