They could have demanded Rangers honour their contracts and that would have been that, you wouldn't have finished the season.
I totally understand why you are peeved but it cannot have come as a surprise, nor can you blame them.

Not sticking up for anyone, just giving reasons why you guys are wrong to castigate them.

TCD....we all have different ideas of who should get the money but had they gone to the newco with their new contracts with the new valuations and been transferred in the up and coming window,the club WOULD have got the money.One things certain it's not OK for millionaires like Naismith and Whittaker to make even more money,greedy barstewards all of them

Hector....I'm obviously naiive cos I think what I would have done and it's not what they did. I know I think like a supporter but Naismith has continually kissed the badge etc and has now gone for nothing. It will not be forgotten and he will be remimded everywhere he goes.

That's not naive, it's childish.

I accept that it's a sore one, but they don't owe anyone any thing.

I've slagged Naismith, Whittaker etc for years but they are journeymen pro's, it's a short career you have to make what you can before age or injury curtails it.

If you where them, late 20's, 1 maybe 2 more contracts before you retire, wouldn't you hate to play in the lower echelons when you have better, brighter options, options that solely depend on you being a free agent?

injury curtailed naisy for two years of a five yr deal,never stopped him taking Rangers money or using their state of the art facilities to rehabilitate before gettin tae,hec
