Guess What. India has played the least amount of t20 international. Yet many of you say india only cares about t20s. Its such a wrong depiction and its a mere contradiction. India has always put Tests ahead, and I would like to believe that some of the players are much into t20s rather than blaming the whole team. The passion with which kohli and pujara(in the current west indies tour and previous games) play with have clearly shown what they put ahead in their things to do list.
people should agree with me that most teams are on level, and no team atm is a perfect team. England ofcourse have a slight advantage with their first bowling choice being top class compared to others, but I would like to think that most countries level their batting with respect to where they play.
My main aim for this article is to point out that the t20 wc later this year would be quite close than most people think. WI, NZ(known to perform in major tournaments), pakistan(always have up'd their standards in major tournaments, England( have had a good record in t20s in the past 1 year or so in all types of conditions. I cant really judge on Aus, SA and Ind cause they have been so unpredictable. WHen you think they have improved so much they end up losing 2 matches to england, so really hard to say where aus are in anything. India on the other hand are known to be world class in subcontinent conditions, and due to the lack of t20s internationals they have played its really hard to judge what they will bring this year. On the hand SA are always known to choke at the highest level so again cant put my bet on how they come out with kisten.

20/20 is so unpredictable....
1 man can win a game on his own with a good batting performance or lose a game with a bad day with the ball.
I`d go for a sub-con team to win it (in their preferred conditions), India must be the favourites.

After enduring 7 weeks of the IPL India are probably sick of T20 like everyone else.

That series in USA with WI and NZ has been shockingly bad.

The bowling in that series has been filthy, especially from New Zealand their bowling was just pathetic to say the least.
But I don't think it's the quality of cricket we need to look at.
They're playing in America, when they tune in or like some non-cricket fans have gone to the ground to watch the game they want to be amazed and most importantly impressed.
The only way do that and show them that is by hitting sixes. The more sixes hit the better I feel for this audience, the ICC are trying to attract. They don't want to see organised, close run chases because they will have no understanding. You need to invite the audience in then do that stuff.
