you'd have to agree that his behaviour doesn't tie in with someone who wants to play for Ireland.
He should be swelling with pride at the honour and isn't.

He obviously does not want to play against Scotland.

He took a lot of stick for not choosing Scotland while playing with Hamilton and I'm sure he is sick of it.

Give the lad a break. He probably handled the situation badly, but I reckon he'll be back in the next squad.
