I feel sick with anticipation....

Got that nervous feeling right to the pit of my stomach. Please god let all these rumours of wealthy owners come true.
Hopefully today's gonna be the day????
Not sure I can take anymore of this waiting lark!! .

Stooppo, for me that would be enough. Like I said, investment to get us to the prem, then we'd get our share of tv money to strengthen. We don't need a billionaire, although it would be nice!

Lot's of people saying Warnock has money to spend already, maybe news of few players signing is more likely the news we'll get today, rather than take over news?

Hoping peoples expectations are realistic - if and when we do get taken over and get money to spend we aren't going to be spending 2-3 million on players - expect to see 500k etc for players

I'd take a few 500k players right now anyday

Side- that'll do me. If we spent in total around 5m and managed to hold onto snoddy within that budget, I'd be a very happy Leeds fan. I won't get carried away, I'm fairly realistic. There are players out there that would significantly improve our chances that fall into that 500k category.

Just how far along the due diligence path will determine when this happens and is announced, and how big the team working on it is.
It could easily be another week - I always fancied July 9 - before the paperwork is finished.
So why don't people, ahem, 'chillaxe' {c David Cameron, ha} and just wait.
I am convinced Bates wants out and that he has said he is happy they aren't trying it on tells me everything I need to know.
It will also be a good test of whether there any nasties in there. I am sure he will have prepared the business well for a takeove. He has had long enough after all.

As long as the process concludes within 2 weeks thats ok in my book, any longer and then we have no contingency left for building the squad as we'll be seriously behind our rivals.

I'm convinced Bates is already more or less gone.

Bates has been building the club to sell not the team to get promotion. Had we done it last season all his Xmas's would have arrived at once but as it stands I think he knows it's not going to happen unless he sells.

I think he's selling now whilst we are still in a good financial position. That might not be the case in 9 months time if the fans stay away and we do not get promotion.

It's also a good time for an investor to buy as his hand is a little weaker at the moment due to the fans boycott of ST's and the unrest in general. Also Warnock got his six pennyworth in early doors and told the press exactly what he needs to get us up -- money and better players.

?

Seems to me Mr Warnock is already bringing players in and has been since the end of last season. Pearce, Green, Drury, with others mooted..!

He appears to be cracking on and not listening to the whiners..!
