apparently naismith is signing for Everton, Whittaker for Norwich and Lafferty for Sion
i read though that apparently the SFA need approval from both the oldco and newco rangers before they grant international clearance for these players to sign for other clubs.
how can this be the case? surely with the oldco being liquidated their contracts were terminated and effectively all players become free agents?

Assuming we get Naismith, what can we expect? Does he play off a front man a la Cahill? Or is he a striker like Jelavic?

his best position is off the striker imo, probably quite similar to cahill actually, good in the air, good engine and likes a moan
seriously though if and it's a big IF, he stays injury free i reckon he will do well at Everton, had a good partnership with Jelavic both clever players

Cheers TRFC.
BTW, It's a criminal shame how it's panned out for Rangers. I think it's only a matter if time before a big team in the EPL goes the same way.
I just wish the game was about football and not money any more.

Naismith's arrival could be the end for Cahill. I would expect he will be given a free and move to Saudi club.
Lets hope he gets a run out before move....maybe at Hibbo testimonial?
