Lets analyse my comment which you got so upset about (mission accomplished BTW like shooting fish in a barrel)

"Mid table" - 8th 6th 7th - check

"Unknown Manager" - Brendan Rodgers - OK, most in this country have heard of him but he ain't box-office so you might hope to attract a few ex-Swansea players (unless a top 4 club comes in for them...Sigurdsson )

"Small Transfer Budget" - this remains to be seen but all the indications are that trimming the wages at LFC are top priority and this means low-wage players, who are generally on the cheap side. You tried to pay Sig what Swansea offered him. No wonder he looked elsewhere.

Now I accept that my comments were a bit of wind up, although there is some truth in them. What is clear is that this has nothing to do with how many trophies LFC have won, how big your are and how glorious you were in the past.....but that doesn't stop the standard LFC fan response of "we've won more than you".

Now stop getting your frillies in a twist about who's wonmore because its not relevant, and I am not contesting it.
