According to the Daily Record there have been secret meetings.
An insider has apparently told them the details of these talks........who is the insider & their motives?
If there was any doubt of who is behind this story this should clear it up:
“But it is feared some clubs may not be aware of the comprehensive nature of the offer on the table so time is of the essence. Green has a helicopter at the ready and will fly anywhere and anytime to every club in the SPL to speak directly with the chairmen and owners"
I can't imagine an insider from Dundee utd, St Mirren, Motherwell etc mentioning Greens helicopter!!!
Pretty clear this has come straight from the old Rangers new Sevco PR firm with Traynor in tow, the word tranche highlighted his input. the only journalist I know who used that term when talking about the ticketus deal.
“That’s the date every club receives a cheque for £645,000 which is the first tranche of next season’s TV money."
In typical of the old Rangers PR firm it is 'released' to the Record timed for maximum impact....and true to form it looks like backfiring as it angers the fans of other clubs who will no doubt be ensuring their board is not doing a u-turn on their vote.
This afternoon should be fun as one by one the likes of Dundee Utd, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen come out & confirm their stance has not changed
PR Staff Transfer To Sevco

"You believe this story & the 'insider'????"
I'm looking at this story on its merits.....could be garbage...could actually be some truth in it after the last week and the how the SPL's intimidation tactics have been met by some SFL clubs
I'm not deciding which is right or wrong based on the language used and how similar it is to "Traynor speak"

Jim Spence @bbcjimspence
Senior SPL source says Newco "Absolutely will be voted against" says Charles Green spoke to him also, but vote will still be no.

So, if you want to check the veracity of a statement, all you need to look for is the word 'tranche'. I always thought it was pretty commonly used in financial circles, but what do I know!

I'll make my mind up when the actual vote is cast myself.
Only got one day to wait
If this whole charade has taught me anything.....its not to count my chickens and to expect the goalposts to be moved
Less than a week ago, Rangers going into the first division was an extremely distant possibility...it was thrid division al the way

See PBs comment about the language used.
