I think looking at how Higginbotham and Guedioura stood head and shoulders above our other defenders and midfielders when they played (albeit briefly in Higg's case) shows that we didn't have anyone in our squad that's Premier class.

Guedioura couldn't even get into the Wolves team who came comfortably rock bottom!

How Guedioura didnt get into that poor poor Wolves team is their loss, he's far superior to anything they have at CM just auld bacon slicer McCarthy doesnt know his head from his hole. Hopefully the new viking manager wont cop on what a gem he is before we sign him!!
