Whilst the media would love you to be displaced by Liverpool or even Spurs I just can't see it, I think this season will be similar to 07/08 whereby everybody expected Arsenal to drop out the top 4 but they had a real go at the title and could/should have won it.
I just don't buy into this idea that Liverpool will be world beaters this season, they've spent coming onto £100m since Dalglish's arrival but to my mind Arsenal and even Spurs still have vastly superior squads.
Rivalry aside, I still think you lot have a quality side, and I for one won't be writing you off no matter who comes and goes.
Also I'd like to say no matter what happens to Fabregas, his behaviour and respect to Arsenal FC has been fantastic, I just wish Gallas, Nasri etc and a few others lead by his example.
Can't see you guys dropping out..

Only time will tell really. It all depends on how Arsenal ride this transfer storm at present and keep hold of key players and sign some quality additions.
Our team is nearly ready and if so this season could see a real title push although any of 3-4 teams could win it really. Man City being in that mix too. Spurs are very nearly there and more superior to Liverpool but still think you have a uphill climb to catch Man City.

People have been saying we'll drop out the top four for years

Initially I was more concerned about what the likes of Spurs and Liverpool would be doing transfer wise.
Spurs are now unfortunately experiencing a media maelstrom similar to what we've faced for the past near decade worth of summers - Vieira/Henry/Fabragas - and seem too bogged down in all that a present to strengthen, whilst Liverpool's war-chest must be almost empty now and though they've undoubtably added some depth to their squad, their starting XI seems about the same as last season.
Mind you what shouldn't be forgotten is that next season, all being well, they'll have Dalgish at the helm for an entire season...

I'm in a bad mood today. Guy from work takes all the easy tickets last night and leaves me with 2 really hard ones that he should have taken.
Well I've told him I cannot take them because I'm away on holiday next week and cannot take anything that will over run

I cant see the Gooners dropping out the Top 4 either. I genuinely do not think Liverpool have stregnthened from last year though. Henderson is punching well above his weight & Adam probably is too.

It depends whether Cesc stays or not. If he stays we will be fine and can maybe even challenge for trophies (if we make some signings). If he goes then I think we will be in trouble. This currents squad minus Cesc is not good enough to finish 4th IMO.

Sadly, I think Batmanu is right.
If Cesc leaves, even bringing in Mata and moving Nasri into the middle, I'd fear for us.
