old firm serco 5088 comment for a while.
Sad it had to be about old paranoid brown, thinking lawwell had anything to gain from putting in place conditions for serco 5088 to get a place in the spl.
No harm MR Brown but as long as you can keep talking season ticket holders out of supporting their club you and your likes are the biggest condition Mr green will have to face.
Well this could be my last

So no lawwell has nothing to gain from Rangers being in the spl now, any money to be made from the old firm will have 10 parasites chasing after it.

2 old firm games replaced with 2 games v dundee is a difference of £2 million
No old firm games will mean drop in season tickets
Nothing to be gained here

Celtic have a lot to gain from no rangers in the SPL. Should be an easy 4 titles.

1 million for a game works out at 25,000 fans
Celtic get a lot more than 37,000 at their home games in the spl out with of rangers.
sponsorship money and tv rights is the main earner from the old firm games.
Can you guess what the other ten will go after, yes you can bet your bottom dollar that they will demand all money is split equally, they may even go after gate money.

Well if that does happen , i hope you enjoyed your jelly and ice cream as the penny finally drops!
You do need us to survive at same level as you have done, without us , you are at mercy of these other clubs

Then, now and forever
The penny drop for me a long while ago, it was about the same time as ten spl clubs excluded Celtic and rangers from a meeting even before the tax-man said no.
The day rangers went under these clubs won the lottery and don't let them kid you. All this rubbish in the paper no more than smoke and mirrors the real story is going on behind the scenes as these clubs dissect Celtic and Rangers weighing up how to maximise their gain.
Make no mistake Rangers fans are still to feel the real impact of what is going on. At least Celtic have the hope of European football. Rangers however are completely at the mercy of these clubs for at least the next 3 years.

Keeping our full team and being able to carry on the policy of buying well and selling on players
......................................................................................
That is not a guarantee as juarez, bangura, murphy , majstorovic, cha, lustig, wilson has shown
But by all means you carry on regardless and keep thinking that you wont be weakened with out Rangers.
Your extra £2million you quote wont cobver the loss of 2 old firm games and falling season tickets

Fall in season tickets comes from knowing that a major reason a lot of fans have season tickets is to guarantee going to old firm games.
Add that to there being no challenge to the title and as you say a weakened team and people being less well off than when oneill was here.
You think every season ticket holder will still pay £450 up front when you can roll up on any matchday and pay in, knowing that possibly 4 or 5 of these games will be played after title is won?
