Aye, he's the kind of player you love to hate, but I'd rather play with him than against him, the dirty bassa
Bit stupid to announce it now though, when we could be in the 3rd division or could be forced into a transfer embargo etc...

There are now just 2 scenarios for Rangers
In the SPL with embargo and points deductions
or
In SFL 1 with no embargo and no points deductions.
Division 3 is now no longer an option.
If I was a Rangers Newco fan, I'd probably favour option 1, although it'll mean a struggle next season and for a few afterwards.
In other words, if the SFL clubs vote no next week toi a Newco coming into Div 1, that might actually be good news for Rangers, because the SPL will then be forced to make a choice--division 3 or SPL.
I think by now we all know how that will go

I would rather div1 with no sanctions than spl with sanctions. We would only be relegated anyway so div1 is the better option if that's what it comes down to

Would you not be as bored as fluck in division 1?
Surely it's better to get back to the SPL, even if you are weaker?
Given the standards among the rest of the teams, I don't think Rangers would be relegated from the SPL.

They've already said in that scenario, an SPL2 would be formed and 1st division clubs would be invited to join...
