So RVP doesn't want to sign a contract because he believes he has given all he can and doesn't believe the club is going where he wants it to go, and that he wants to win trophies.
There is not much wrong with that is there, he is a man with ambition, that's all.

So he is leaving..I wish he flops so bad, worse than Holland. Robin Van Puss can leave. Arsenal > any player..I m not saying he is not a good player but he is overrated by us Arsenal fans.. His goals tally would be half with better players around him..instead all our team selflessly gives him the ball at every opportunity you saw this with Holland.
I know its sad to see this but I hope Wenger is more ruthless with these mercenaries called footballers. You just can't trust any of these SNAKES anymore.

All that we need to replace is his goals! For me he gave us nothing else. Poor leadership (let the saga drag throughout the season), no workrate (I analysed his body language carefully last year and you'll see he only runs when he smells a chance).

I actually agree he's overrated and was not as good as people made out last season. Missed tons of chances and his link up play was awful.

Not even remotely bothered that he is going to be honest, Podolski, Giroud and Walcott/Chamberlain as the front 3 is a good strike force.
Yes he was our best player by far last year but he's the same as the rest, comes to us as nothing, we make him amazing, the same as Fabregas(i understad why Fab left as it's his hometown club which he supports which is hard to reject), Nasri and Clichy and then they all say the same thing that they want to win trophies which we all know means they want more money.

Van Persie

F@ck him.
Arsenal > RVP so he can do one.
We stuck by him through thick and thin and when the Time came where we need him most, he's about to turn his back on us.
What happened to the loyalty we showed him? Doesnt that stand for anything anymore?
But seriously sod it. I don't care anymore where he goes. There's no way in hell he'll be able to achieve that legendary status.

I actually want him to flop really badly at his next club. Does that make me a bad person?

Wenger is the man to lead us not RVP, and the new captain is Vermaelen for me. With the signings of Giroud and Padolski surely means both can share 35+ goals.

fk him, like most of the players who left before he'll realise it was Arsenal who made him look good.

Without wenger, van persie would most likely be playing in the dutch league right now, no loyalty today.

Tbh this just sounds like Arsenal fans have come back to reality, they have overrated him last season.

Almost as sad as telling everyone that Hazard is an awful player and that you didn't want him ... the DAY AFTER he signs for a rival!

I don't think I saw any comments like that on this board, in fact I distinctly remember most people saying they were disappointed in not getting him.

38 games, 30 goals. Anyone who thinks he won't be missed is an idiot

not that I care much but I distinctly remember reading almost exclusively negative comments after he signed for Chelsea. These boards are full of people who just want to big up their own teams and not talk football so I'm not surprised.

He will be missed, no doubt about that. The thing is that he isn't Ronaldo, he will not be the focal point at any club snd as a result, he will also miss Arsenal Football Club.

Well yeah fair enough. The majority of 606 Arsenal fans are absolute morons, you're right there.
Still though, I will severely dislike van Persie should he leave, I will wish him the best in his future endeavours.

Robin Van Persie won't be missed at all, as Nicklas Bendtner will step up to the plate!
