Not sure on this one, could defo do with some size and as far as whats avalable he does have some pedigre but thought we would have stuck with mossop and hock and kids to cover the front row. Plus, well, he's been **** this year for leeds.
Competition for places and short term cover its probably not a bad move but does this mean Fielden is out for the season?

just how much cap do Wigginn have? First Mr Hock after signed Lima/Finch/Hoffman and now Ben Cross - has DW gone to the same accountants as wire use????

It sounds like McBarmpot had taken an early decision he wasn't going to use him so he never got a chance to show anything at leeds. Can't see much risk in using him against the filler teams.......could be an astute signing for wigan. Presumably Gleeson getting the push freed up some money.Wigan seem to have about 8 from down ......even more than Hull KR......but it must be "within the spirit " of the rules.

Trust Maguire he knows how to coach and motivate, unlike McDermott he is likely to get a lot out of the guy who did not turn into a bad player overnight.
