Seems to have had more conversations with the press about this takeover than anyone actually at the club...

a) Is it good that he is such a blabbermouth?
b) Is it a good thing that it has been made public other parties are still interested? Will that upset the Al-Hasawi apple-cart?
John Pye...

You can't say he doesn't know how to milk his year long sponsorship deal for all it's worth! I didn't know who this guy was or his business - but I do now! I'm not sure it is helpful though to keep speculating on the eventual owner - although we are all doing that. Has a sponsor ever been so vocal?

I think a bidding war sounds cool. I am imagining other multimillionaires that can match the Hawasi riches or top it. You just don't know though.
I just hope that whoever takes over is football mad.

Garibaldi, at least everything he's said, so far, has some truth init. If I was paying for sponsorship money of course I'd milk it but also tell the truth, as it would be detrimental to business if I gave false info.
I reckon the other Arabs maybe looking at the weeds, maybe? Just a thought.

I agree, he was just stating that there had been a bidding war which Al-Hasawi has emerged as the winner.

He has to be very careful what he says. If he makes Al Hasawi lose face in any way he will walk away from the deal. I am sure he changed his statement after a call from the solicitors handling the sale. At least they seem to know what they are doing.
This blokes a liability.
