They have only qualified for one major tournament since 1984, WC2002 . Surely this must change look at the "golden generation" team could they have at their disposal (these are just the ones I know about, and ignore the unusally attacking formation):
Courtois
Vermaelen Kompany Vertonghen
Defour Fellani
Dembele Witsel De Bryne
Hazard
Lukaku
...and Chelsea are buying them one by one!

The three Musondas on the bench
Only the youngest one could make it, the other two we only took to get the younger one. Dembele is a cm to.

I think we should all do some breathing exercises together.

So, have I got this right ?
12 years ago, in 1984, Belgium hosted the World Euoro's in Japan and Korea and DID'NT qualify.
Their only major tournament is in 10 years time, when three Musondas will sing like Pavarotti at the opening ceremony ?

I think you'll all find they qualified for USA 94

How can someone make such a misinformed statement as the one the OP made?
How can you be so ignorant, and yet so willing to brandish such a lie?
Belgium have only qualified for one major tournement since 1984? Really?
What a load of bullshít.
Mr OP you need a history lesson. You were on the internet to post the lies, why didn't you use it to check your "fact"??
The Belgium team of the 80s was a fabulous team. The likes of Ceulemans, Scifo, Pfaff, Nico Clausen of Spurs (!) , Gerets, Demol.
Not only did they qualify (at the expense of neighbours Holland) they went on to beat one of the favourites in the second round (Soviet Union), then Spain in the quarters. Only the Maradona inspired Argentina stopped them reaching the final.
Oh, you say, only 2 years out.
BUT NO!!!!!!!!!!
How can any Englishman forget (or not know about) David Platts 119th minute wonder volley to knock a far superior Belgium side out of the 1990 World Cup??
Yes that is right, in 1990 Belgium once again qualified for the World Cup.
And as the Blackadder fan correctly points out, Belgium again qualified in 1994, losing in the second round in another tightly fought out match, 3-2 v Germany.
And guess what happened in 1998? Yes that is right. Belgium once again qualified for a major international tournement. Sadly by then the Golden Generation had all but gone, and they failed to qualify from the group stage. But they most certainly did qualify.
So, including the 2002 WC the OP did correctly recognise, Belgium qualified for 5 World Cups in a row (they also qualified for the 82 WC, making 6 in a row).
Not one.

OP, think you meant Belgium haven't qualified for a European Championship ince 1984, apart from the one they hosted in 2000.
