But in Spurs case he probably is bigger.

Modric was a good player, but not a great, 3 years at the club, and he hardly performed in the really big games like the semis, and games at Old Trafford, etc. So Spurs may as well cash in and move on.

I think Spurs will comfortably cope without Modric and £35 million in the bank.

I have a feeling that if he goes to Madrid we'll have 27 million plus Diarra.

I'd be happy with that only if we signed 2 top forwards and a winger to compete with Lennon and Bale.

I honestly think luka is more replaceable than bale. Glad at which one decided to stay.
