Just imagine you were in the final stages of taking over and you had a quick glimpse at these boards...
"the man city of the east midlands" etc etc.
Do you think we are putting them under too much pressure with all this excitement about potential signings?
About how much money they are going to spend?
About sacking the current manager?
Yes these guys have obviously got some cash but it needs to be used wisely and as we saw last season with fester, just throwing money around just doesn't work.
First things first we should be more than happy we have some security, which over a number of seasons with consistency in management and ownership we get to win the right to get ourselves into the top league.
My extra long point is...not to scare these guys off, we should just be greatfull we've got some security (if it does go through) and take it one step at a time.
Some fans ran a man out of town who spent millions of his own money, maybe just maybe if this goes through we should appreciate what we have got.
Amen and good night
Potential New Owners...

It will cost millions to make the team competitive in this division in the first place let alone any longer term ambitions they may have for the club. I really don't expect owners with experience in football club ownership will be naive to this fact. I also think they will be enjoying the buzz that this is generating in the media over here and with the fans. I can't imagine that would be scaring them off at all. I would be happy that everyone is getting excited about the future of our club.

Clearly anyone who says we'll be the 'man city of the midlands' is saying so tongue in cheek. 99% of reasonable minded fans will just be happy with some investment and stability and seeing the club ran sensibly. The club is literally a smouldering wreck so anything is an upward direction. The Al Hawasi family should run the club as they see fit and if that means sacking Cotterill then so be it, no room for sentiment in successful football clubs so if there gonna pour millions in then they should bring in their own man. Same goes for that creep Arthur, I'll toast the day that skimeball gets his com uppence which I reckon / pray / hope comes soon!

Sadly those who ran him out will feel vindicated if your next owner spends a fortune.

No they won't. They might if we have some relative success. It wasnt about money, as many people would have you believe. A lot like to paint it as ungrateful fans that wanted even more money. But it was never like that, at least it wasn't for most of us.

I hope they keep MA on. He knows the club inside out and has served us well over the years!

Ultimately ND resigned and took responsibilty for the dutch steve debacle.........................perhaps MA was just doing as he was told?
Unfortunately ND always had his carpet slippers on when he made decisions regarding the club, not his business suit.
