Morning guys,
Well it looks like we are selling Park Ji-Sung, genuinely one of my all time favourite Man Utd players.
I do feel the timing is right, we have better wingers, and he is 31 years old. His performances last season weren't the best and it'll be good to see him get regular football.
He was so energetic, never complained, a fine business acquistion and always performed in the big matches when called upon. He also, was under rated technically IMO.
Anyway, was wandering what people's favourite Park momebnts were. Here's mine:
His First United goal vs Birmingham in CC
Scoring Twice in one game against Fulham.
Big performances against Chelsea and Liverpool
Regularly destroying Arsenal and always scoring (especially his winner in the 1-0 a couple of yrs ago, won me a fair bit of money)
Keeping Pirlo so quiet against Milan in the CL
Amazing performances against Barcelona in the CL
Him and Evra
Captaining the side last season in the Europa league ( even though he and the side were poor, i think hes earned wearing it at least once)
His attitude towards the club at all times.
And last of all, his great song.....
PARK PARK WHEREVER YOU MAY BE.......
Park :(

good servant but good bye. Not being harsh but he isn't a United player anymore and last season proved that. It's a great move for both club and player and hopefully playing regularly he will find some form again. One thing is certain, he will give his all and he leaves us with his reputation intact.
Which on another note is my concern about Giggs. United legend but by carrying on and underperforming he is seriously undermining his ability. Maybe he just can't let go.

Good job we've got Kagawa. Selling Park just before an Asia tour would have caused riots

Used to be a good player, but declined horribly last season. Great servant, and good luck to him at QPR. Maybe he will guide Fabio.

I'm actually quite saddened that he's gone, but he was becoming nothing short of a fringe player. His time here was perfect, always scoring vital goals, and helped out the team in anyway he could. He really did have a lot of great performances, and I'm glad he got to win pretty much everything there was at England. Did himself, us, and South Korea proud.
I remember an interview, where they said that Park had inspired scouts to come to South Korea, and that players were more open to moving abroad.
