Press Conference:

1. How did you feel your game at the weekend went?
Really well, Valencia gave us a bit a of fright but we held them off and got a nice 2 goal win.

2. What do you think of your chances in your next game?
Bilbao at home is never going to be an easy game as they showed by upsetting Barcelona last weekend but I will be expecting a win from the lads.

3. How bad are your injuries at the moment?
All 4 are important players to the squad but I'm sure we can manage.

4. What line up do you plan on playing this week?
We have gone with what I believe is our strongest possible line up.

5. Looking at some of the performances from the first 2 games, who do you think your rivals will be this season?
Atletico Madrid, along with us, have a 100% record so they look to be in it at the moment and then you obviously can't rule out Barcelona either. I would have thought Malaga would have picked up more points than they have done despite their difficult start though.

6. If you could sign one player for your team, not thinking about money, who would it be?
Easy one for me - Lionel Messi. Just think of a forward line including Messi AND Ronaldo. Just scary!

7. What is your favourite sport other than football?
Tennis.

8. What team do you support in real life?
Man Utd.

Great though we only just won it was a good game and a good result.

We have a chance. I think it will be a hard game but a game where we can win points

Donno havent seen them lol. im sure they're bad

now that would be telling

Well it looks as if its going to be Barca and Real but im sure Malaga and possibly Bilbao can challenge me

Pretty poor. we got dominated and only looked in it after our goal which came to late

2. What do you think of your chances in your next game?

Well id think we can challenge madrid but if we perform like we did earlier then no chance. Madrid slipped up against sevilla but that was a one off. they'll be back next week.

3. How bad are your injuries at the moment?

Pretty bad. 2 first teamers out

A line up that will stop madrid playing their game. a fast game.

1. How did you feel your game at the weekend went?
Very poorly, a loss to Sevilla was a real shock to the system and with 2 extremely tough games coming up it couldn't have come at a worse time. Let's hope we can recover quickly though.

2. What do you think of your chances in your next game?
I still believe we will win but I need a good performance from the lads if we are to gain any momentum for the Barca game.

3. How bad are your injuries at the moment?
They are alright at the moment, only Alonso that is anywhere near the first team at the moment.

4. What line up do you plan on playing this week?
After last weeks performance, I think we will be changing it around a little.

1. How did you feel your game at the weekend went?
Really well. We got a big win against Atletico Madrid, getting our morale back up and Barca dropped points which was an added bonus.

2. What do you think of your chances in your next game?
Well, it's the big one. It will be extremely tought but I hope we have just enough to get the win, although I would settle for a draw seeing as we would still be top.

3. How bad are your injuries at the moment?
We got hit pretty harshly this time around. Pepe and Mascherano are out and to add insult to injury, after Ozil's shenanigans last week, he is suspended!

4. What line up do you plan on playing this week?
Our strongest possible!

5. What would you think to the idea of boardrooms being included in the league?
I would like it.

6. Who do you think will win the first big Barca-Real clash of the season (on this league)?
Hopefully Real but it's going to be really tight.

7. How are you planning on approaching the cup? (Looking to win it, play the youngsters, not bothered?)
I think it will be between Malaga/Atletico Madrid so I will look to play a few of the youngsters.

8. Other than England, are there any International sides you support/look out for their results?
I like to see how all the other big countries do but I'm not really bothered about any of them, same with the rest of the UK countries and Ireland.

Well can't complain a win is a win .

Not great Malaga are a good team.

3. How bad are your injuries at the moment?
Could have been worse can't complain really.

Yeah i'd welcome them .

Unfortunately Real Madrid .

You've got to be in it too win it. So i'm playing full strenght teams to try and win.

Ireland and Spain love both side outside of England.
