I have never seen stadium being this full for doubles match!! There is a lot at stake, Marray is on the verge of writing history.
Will Marray/Nielsen be able to do it? It is 2-2 all at the moment and tough match going on?
Good luck Johnnie Marray.
Will Marray win this?

Great game from both of them.
Seemed to compliment each others game perfectly.

I love it when someone comes from nowhere and wins the whole damn thing - in any sport.. Especially when a Brit is involved. It doesn't happen much in tennis.

Britain tennis ails. It is quite inexplicable that Britain has not produced a champion for so many years. All other countries like US, Argentina, Germany, France, serbia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, sweeden, Holland, Austria has quality players but if you take out Scotland then England might be losing to Pakistan as well.
Something surely is not right with LTA. Even before Murray, it was only Tim, Rusdeski was an import. Before that it was Mark Petchey who was a no hoper anyway.

TMF, British tennis is actually on the up, see my comments on Henman Bill's thread today, lots of great juniors coming through.

Well I will be really happy if that happens but it has been quite a dismal showing by Brits in past 70 -80 years despite of having some of the best facilities and money in the sport.
Germany has Kohli, Mayer, Haas. Argentia has Delpo, Nalby, Monaco, France has Simon, Gasquet, tsonga, monfils, Italy too has Seppi, Fognini. But England hardly has any depth.
Murray is no. 4 and then who is next?

I wish it was better but like I said at least we have some juniors coming through now.

Great stuff today Marray/Nielsen!
Thought they'd blown it when they lost the 4th set TB after leading 5-2 but broke early in the 5th, and held on.
Was disappointed with the empty crowd at the start, but the majority of them were just taking a breather after the women's final. It was actually about 80% full by the middle of the match.

It's a HUGE step-up from the Juniors to the ATP Tour. Only the best juniors in the world will have a hope in hell. Even then, that doesn't guarantee anything. Just look at Gasquet.
