What dreams may come....

I know this has been mentioned a few times over different posts, but ......

Just got back in from having a few cheeky beers. At one point we were joined by a bin robber, we already had a nottingham 'B' team supporter with us. We had a chat about football investment and how it makes us fans go a bit mad.

When Notts had their new investors, they were going to be the new man city and walk the league....... ( just a phrase before anyone talks about timescales...)

When leicester had their new investors, they were going to be the new man city and walk the league.......

So please please please.... Let us, the supporters of a proper football club, act with some dignity. Because at the moment it is more likely that we are gonna do a Leicester, than be the next man city.

Let us cheer the players we do sign / resign. Rather than bemoan the ones that we don't. Let's keep our heads and let all the others about us lose theirs!!

If we expect too much and talk too much, we will only ever be disappointed.
If we keep our expectations realistic.... You never know, they just might be exceeded.

What dreams may come.

Thank you and goodnight!!

Iwas!

You're just jealous because we're going to win the championship this season, win the premiership next season, then regain our throne as champions of Europe for 3 consecutive seasons after that!

This is why I think we would do better keeping SC in charge than getting some big name manager in who doesn't know the english leagues.

Cotterill will not waste money. He will be shrewd and will not pay over the odds for players more interested in lining their pockets (like McLaren did). With a decent financial backing and Cotterill spending it, I think that we stand a good chance of doing well next season!

Hoons I absolutely agree that SC would definitely be best placed to build a great squad and not waste money cough Derbyshire... Miller .... Cough...

That makes him great at recruitment, but not necessarily at management.

Keeping SC is definitely the safest bet!
But as we are now almost, nearly, gazilionaires?!?! Is the safest bet what is needed? Hmmmmm not sure.
I've said before - I wouldn't be gutted if he was still our mgr next season. Mainly because he did save us from the drop. But also, who else is there now that pep has taken the Russia job .
