Ok, just a quick question here right. Terry had the England captaincy stripped for proposed(find out soon what happened) racist comments, whereas Giggs, whom has been known to cheat on his wife, even with his brothers wife has got the captaincy of the GB team.
Now i know they are different boards, one the fa and one the olympic committee and that Giggs has been an excellent player, but surely Stuart Pearce should have someone who is a pubic role model in the captaincy, and since giggs affairs became public, it is hard to see him as an ideal role model. (Same as drug cheats for olympics, imo they shouldn't be going).
Footbaling terms i think he is a good choice, but as a figurehead, is he what we want as a nation to be representing us as captain? I am just comparing these 2 situations, and was just wondering what everyones opinions on this is?
Terry and Giggs

Last I heard you couldn't get thrown into prison for sha gging your wifes sister, whilst I think he is an odious worm, he shouldn't be stopped from playing football, so whoever is suggesting he shouldn't go and is in the same bracket as drugs cheats needs his head testing
As for Terry, the FA were pretty much damned whatever they did, they took the captaincy off him and still let him play, postponing the trial was big mistake IMHO, if he had nothing to hide/fear he should've got it out of the way, if he'd been vindicated he would've had a strong case for being given back the captaincy.
Instead it looks like the courts/fa favoured terry by letting him play one last major finals cos his international career is almost over.

Even if he does get convicted it is only a £2500 fine at most. However, fans get banned from all football grounds if convicted, so the only solution for Terry would be to ban him from English football?

Fair enough lfcbow Patient pool fan, agreed, if it's good enough for any fan then it's good enough for terry. Can the FA bring sanctions once he's been to court? Or will they try and swerve it? Will he get an 8 game ban, or 16 for denying it (if he's found guilty)?
