I was about to write an article on this subject but saw some articles highlighting my exact sentiments so thought otherwise.
i think the topic of modric has been done to death and us making a 100 threads on him wont make him sign for us...so what will be will be ...lets leave this modric topic alone for now and concentrate on the pre season ahead!!
Modric..full stop!!

We've only got another 50 days of summer fun. Keep it going as long as we can. If you don't wont to mention Modric just express it as "M".

I think the club should move on, it's clear this will take the majority of the window, and IMO there are players who would be just as effective as Modric for the same price and cheaper

Listen in this transaction CFC hold all the aces, I have seen so many Spurs fans saying QUOTE "we can do what we want" UNQUOTE and how they must make a stand for the good of football etc but there wrong. At the end of the day we have made our offers and they have not been accepted. Now I would just leave it, we have already destabilised them and left them with a very unhappy player. To be honest I was hoping CFC offered them 40/50 mill and watch how quickly Levy accepted that offer and then land the big one and pull out of the deal, just to show up Levy for what he is.
Levy is just playing games, Modric is for sale and as much as Spurs fans don't like it the right money buys him.
It will not matter to us if we buy or don't buy Modric and will not affect our season at all, we will just go and sign one of the other targets, by that I mean do you really think CFC only have Modric in mind when there are a few players around ie Moutinho, Sweinsteiger, Schneider and probably one or 2 others.
Spurs don't hold all the aces, we do, it's them that need to sell to buy the strikers they need to compete, Redknapp has admitted that they need to sell to before they can buy.

Schweinsteiger would be fantastic
