Strikers we have been linked with...

If Van Persie goes we are likely to sign another forward...not necessarily a striker....can be a forward thinking player....the players we have been linked with have been:

David Villa - Although i would love this to happen, it is very unlikely, great player, he is in his 30's but i reckon he has 2-3 quality years to offer yet. Will be making a statement if we bring someone of his name and quality to the club.

Edin Dzeko - Good in the air, good with both feet, can be clinical, lacks some pace but the rest of his attributes make up for it, swap deal for Van Persie. I really wouldn't mind this happening, at 26 he is reaching his peak and witha run of game can be prolific.

Daniel Sturridge - Most potential, quick, has an eye for goal, still very young with alot to offer, can play in any of the positions. Potentially world class. Chelsea seem to want to offload him, he is a gooner, why not?

Seydou Doumbia - I won't say i have watched him play, that would be a lie, most people watched a couple of clips of him on Youtube and know him from fifa where he has 94/100 pace and something like 90+ finishing, thats their source. I wouldn't rely on Fifa or any game to judge him but he may be worth a go? Surely can't be much worse then Park/Chamakh.

Victor Moses - Good player, would be very good back up and will challenge well for a starting position. He is quick, got good feet and almost single handedly kept Wigan up.

Ibrahim Affelay - Van Persies' best friend, but will he arrive and convince our captain to stay? or might he come and fit right into the team to play alongside giroud and podolski up top? Either way at 6 million he could be a great buy

Papisse Cisse - I very much doubt Newcastle will sell this gem of a player, congrats on them getting him, i don't think we will get him but if we did then he would be great

Demba Ba - Again congratulations to Newcastle for taking a risk on him which has now payed off but the man has a 6-7 million buy out clause on his contract, worth a punt?

Stefan Jovetic - I have watched this player, he is a great player to have, very skillful , good with both feet, reasonably tall, around 6 foot, but he has a 30 million clause and i don't think he is worth that much to be honest and would be a gamble

MY QUESTION IS WHO WOULD YOU PREFER AT THE CLUB FROM THAT LIST? AND WHO DO YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE WE CAN GET?

Out of all of them, I'd take Jovetic without a doubt. Never going to happen though.

None of them are likely IMO.

I think Affelay and Ba can happen, the rest would take alot, but you never know, and yes i'm a fan of Jovetic too

Utd want RvP, they should offer £15m + Berbatov.

Berbatov? Really? - Good player, our game might suit him but no....just no....

Berbatov would be great at Arsenal

Just because he used to be a spu==.

But seriously he is technically very good and has the best first touch I have seen.

I am not saying he is not a good player but i think he will slow our game down alot, he could play a dennis bergkamp role but we no longer play that system

I think Man utd are crazy in getting rid of him

class player great first touch very good player.

Daniel Sturridge "potentially world class"?

Really?

Chelsea benchwarmer is above his level and he won't get much better.

Doumbia would be a dream.

Jovetic would be fantastic.
