Fantastic appointment.
AVB plan, zero defects!

"Its a good appointment, it opens up our knowledge of the German youth market & also Freund will have good contacts in the Bundesliga."
Indeed.
Given their league is most akin to the PL, we could see a fair bit of trade in that direction.

I remember going to an away game (long after he'd left the club) and him and his nippers were sitting in with the Spurs fans with all of them wearing FULL kit I also saw him strip down to his jockstrap and throw all of his kit into the crowd ...Fortunately the match had finished

@number 8
Try answer three our new sporting director. He is steffen freunds good buddy. Avb did not want a assistant head coach but accepted he would have one appointed.
I was hoping we got rid of the job for mates when Harry left but obviously not.

look like modric
Sporting director? Are you referring to Sherwood?
The German youth system is clearly producing some good players, and he's a club legend.. not a bad appointment if you ask me.

Welcome back
The news is slightly tempered for me by what look like's said. This is what concerns me about the new regime - Sherwood seemingly holding the balance of power at the club and (possibly) meddling. All seems a bit convoluted and over-complicated to me

I think there's two ways of looking at it - if we were to give AVB complete control there'd be questions asked about just how much he's going to change.
Besides, he's done his apprenticeship with the German national team, got all his badges etc - i'm sure he's good enough and he certainly loves Spurs..
