Is clint a striker or midfielder????
We keep being linked with him and it's bugging me.
He had a great season last year and fair play to him but one thing I don't get is where he plays. I always thought he was a striker but averages around 11 goals per season which isn't great for pl forward. But if I've been wrong and he's always been a midfielder then that goal stat is pretty good!
If he is a striker then why is Bren chasing borini too? Is clint meant to be acm? Along with stevie?

Would someone please tell me......

He can basically play anywhere in midfield or up front.
That's why he would be a good signing, versatile, goalscorer.
Great in the air, so I think he could play very well with Carroll at set pieces (assuming we have Carroll), but also adept on the deck.
Just a very good footballer in my opinion, anyone who doesn't rate him just hasn't watched him enough and only looks at the fact he plays for Fulham and is not called Julio Geordio.

It would appear that my efforts to ask the fulham fans may have been pointless,....... I just looked at their board and te last article was created on June 26th by a utd fan!!!!! Busy bunch

Julio geordio??? P•rn star name!!!!
29 tho?? Doesn't really fit with the fsg ethos
Is he good/consistent enough for age not to matter?

Just because the owners have a model doesn't mean every signing has to be 21.
People talk too much about the model.
For me Dempsey is a very consistent player, with a great attitude.
He doesn't rely on pace and is fit as a fiddle, so could play at the top level for another 3 years at least.
For £10m or less I think he would be a class signing.

Pretty much the same as Dirk Kuyt I guess. No real strongest position.

He can play across the the Midfield and as An AM.
He would be a quality signing

Clinton Dempsey drifts in between midfield and attack. What surprises me is that, aged 29 years, he is actually on the radar. Or is this just Press talk? jimmyTheRed
