I would like to preface this by saying that far too much has been made of this AC thing. All it results in is Carroll becoming isolated. Rodgers, though non-comittal, had his words taken out of context; what he said applied for all players. The AC Milan 'interest' comes from the unreliable source of Berlusconi's son-and all he said was that Carroll scored a good goal against Sweden (which he did!). Meanwhile West Ham remarked that as he's a good player they'd like him him at the club, but they'd had no formal discussions. Hardly groundbreaking stuff, only paid attention to as 'real' rumours are so thin on the ground...
However despite that long winded introduction; if Carroll does go out on loan, I can't think of a better club for him than Milan. For one simple reason. Ibrahimovic. Love him or hate him; there is no better player in the 'Carroll mould' than Zlatan. I think he could learn huge amounts from him in just one season, regardless of playing time, and would come back vastly improved. (Also any game time would result him in becoming more rounded-he would have to be at his brutal best to take on Italian centre backs-think Chiellini!)
Sorry this was so long-and apologies if what I said has already been covered! Also-I want Andy to stay-he'll be a hell of a player in the future. No doubt.

i don't want Andy anywhere near that ruddy team, whether he learns off Zlatan or not, they are having a giraffe with the way they have treated our club and players, and we should tell them to f off with anything, even if they need to borrow a fiver, pikies the lot of them!!

They merely try and get the best deals possible. Why pay over-the-odds for the likes of Aquilani? If they can give Carroll a new dimension, fantastic!

Let's get one thing clear... Brendan Rodgers hasn't even had one training session with Andy Carroll.. and possibly only spoken to him on the phone.
I can't believe a coach of Rodgers capacity will send a player anywhere without assessing them first.
Just heard Tony Gale on talksport saying that Rodgers doesn't have a tall striker in his gameplan and as an example mentioned Danny Graham. Tony Gale, if you're reading this... Danny Graham is over 6ft tall!
There are some idiots rambling on...

AC won't be learning squat from Zlatan...unless he's going to PSG with him...

I have to ask, why would Milan loan Carroll? There are better options for them - a club that is an attractive proposition all across the world for players, even players on loan. So why would Milan go for Carroll, only on loan?
Having said that, I do agree that Zlatan would be a good player for Carroll to learn from (if not in attitude, only in ability). If Carroll is to go on loan however, I feel that it would be to a club of much lesser standard than Milan. The only way I could see a loan to Milan is if they agree a loan deal with an option to buy. But in that case that wouldn't be in Liverpool's interests in regards to the development of the player. For if he does well, Milan sign permanantly. If he doesn't do well, he returns to Liverpool no better than he currently is.

This is a mis-representation of what BR has said by the Press. They can't get any info, the stir the hornets nest, step back, and see what the response is. The response? Silence. Brilliant. Keep guessing! JimmyTheRed
