To be honest, I think we should be looking to get Malouda, Essien, Ferriera, Meireless and Turnball off our wage bill and sign Modric, shurrle, Oscar and Debuchy dont think we necessarily need Hulk, that would be the perfect scenario. It would leave us with Romeu, Modric, McEachran, Ramires, Lampard and De Bruyne for the 2double pivot positions, and for the 3 attacking midfield positions: Oscar, Hazard, Mata, Marin, Benayoun and Kakuta; and For the lone striker role; Torres, Schurrle, Sturridge and Lukaku.

Also with Mata - last season most were happy about signing him because we finally had a good wide player at the club and it meant Malouda would no longer be first choice

CSTP - I think thats a very good point, we were so lacking there, relying on the likes of Malouda, Kalou, Anelka and Sturridge, that we were relieved when Mata arrived and gave us some creativity there.
Then we started playing 4231 and hey presto no one to fill in behind the striker - step forward Jaun Mata!

Gazza, Mikel/Romeu provide that defensive umbrella - we need something to knit the whole thing together though.
I'm more than happy if we have Josh and KDB as back up for that - however I'm not confident that they will be with us next season and not loaned out somewhere!

Think the problem with him is they want at least €30million, and we're spending around that much on Oscar, so the club might want a cheaper option like Moses or Schurrle
