I would like to lead the applause for Dean for the way he has handled this. A short term contract to prove Keegan's fitness and then either a full contract or goodbye.

In the past the club would have given him a 2 year deal and then set about trying to get him fit whilst he sat on the trainers couch.

Plays a similar role to Simon Gillett. I hope he can stay fit.
