Harry Not so cool

I'm not over reacting here just my opinion.
Besides from a Leeds point of view Viduka was better, remember his 4 against Liverpool

So anyway Kewell has been named the best player is ozzy history.
Average player for top level english teams.

Anyway he should be awarded the player with the worst character with absolutely no moral fibre in his body.

Sending this on phone on way to work so not sure if link works.
So pasting both quote and link from YEP.

Former Leeds United forward Harry Kewell has been named Australia’s best ever player at an awards ceremony in Sydney.

The 33-year-old was handed the honour after a public vote of 15,000 fans and a panel of current and former players, administrators and commentators determined the winner.

Kewell, who recently cut short his Melbourne Victory contract to return to the United Kingdom for family reasons, described the award as a “massive honour".

Everton midfielder Tim Cahill and Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer were included in an all-time Australian best XI that also included former Leeds United striker Mark Viduka, Lucas Neill and Craig Moore.

remember someone asking Eddie who was the best player he worked with when O leary was manager and he said there was some quality players Woodgate, Ferdinand, Smith, Kewell could have been even better but when the big man Viduka was on song he was the best.

The VBomber.....class act on and off the field.........more talent in big toe than any player to play for Leeds in last 20 years and whether you care to admit it or not, played for the shirt right up to the end

Viduka

agree and at the time, alot of fans moaned because they said he was lazy.

No, he just didnt run round like a headless chicken.

And thats why england will do nothing ever, because in this country we are obssesed by players who appear to give "110 %"

good comment LIW. Interviewed many times on tv in Oz while on break between seasons and the big man absolutely loved the joint. Pity many fans in Leeds forget what he did for Leeds. Not his fault the morons in charge sent the club broke.

and.....wore my leeds shirt to Australia v Uruguay world cup qualifier at MCG in front of 95,000 fans and there were Leeds utd shirts everywhere in the crowd. All this due to Viduka and Kewell............put this club on the map in Oz. We were bigger than anybody back then. I want that feeling back!

Actually think Cahill better than Viduka and Kewell - his goal record for a midfielder is superb and his movement in the box is the best I've ever seen!

Cahill couldnt lace viduka or kewells boots, when there all on form.

his goal record for a midfielder is superb
-------------------------------------------------------------

A complete myth

2 goals last season and 56 leagues in 8 years isnt superb

56 in 226 Premiership starts - superb for a Premiership midfielder at a club like Everton !

He was playing just behind the striker half the time.
