Move over Ledley Legend

It goes without saying that Ledley King is a club legend and one of the best players we have had in the last 40 years.

Towards the end of last season he looked fit for nothing but the knackers yard though.

We now have young defenders coming through who want to play first team football, and we have experiencce to guide them in kaboul, dawson, gallas, friedel etc.

It seems a funny thing to say, but I for one am dissapointed to see Ledley included on the new first team profiles on the club website today. Time to move over Ledders

AVB - had forgotten all about Dervitte! What happened to him? Not certain if he was going to be a great defender, there was always something a little circumspect but that could just have been his age, but definately enough potential to have a good career if injury free.

Love Ledders! It would be good to keep him in and around the club. Caulker could learn a hell of a lot from him

Dervitte is at Villareal B now, his knee injury ended his career with us, he'll earn a good living but no where near what he could of earned. Definitely would of been starting for us now if it wasn't for the injury he picked up.

Not assumption, more the hope that he will wish to remain working with the club and give his experience to the next generation of kids.
