Has Malouda been a success?

He was excellent in our double winning season.

By no means a Chelsea Great but a good player well worth the money we spent on him.

Na he was worth the money overall really when you compare him to some of our other signings who cost more. e.g. Zhirkov was 16million. At least we got 1 and a half good seasons out of Malouda, as White Wall says he was amazing in our double winning season and was the best lm / lw in the world that year

I also thought after his poor debut season, he come on leaps and bounds in the Scolari/Guus season, especially under Guus!! Was probably the best player in the short Hiddink era alongside Drogba!!

I think people forget how good he was between January 2009 and summer 2010. He was one of, if not the best winger in the PL during that time. The same with Bosingwa for his first season, he was the best RB in the league that season. Both have been rubbish anytime else though, but don't deserve to be shoved along with the worst players to play for Chelsea if you count their Chelsea career as a whole

Excellent at times, useless at others. Probably worth it, just.

No chance, even back then it was obvious he was defensively cr ap, his saving grace was he offered something going forward.

He's learnt to play the drums

Malouda was good for about 3 seasons for Chelsea so he was worth 15 million pounds in transfer fees!
