Terry: the man & the myth

Arsenal fan in peace

First of all would like to say how much I admire as a PLAYER but not so much as a man. Hes had the Bridge issues and being accused of racism.

Imo I dont think Terry is racist (yes I happen to be black) and that is because of his behaviour towards Ashley cole, mikel,essien,drogba,anelka-all black teammates who we can say have so far never inclined any kind of racist actions against them by terry.

I know most gunners hate JT for reasons best understood by them but for me, and i say this as a Gunner, JT still is one of the best CBs in the EPL & was easily our best player at the Euros after Gerrard.

However, I am curious about how chelsea feel about JT's personal life's struggles in the past 2-3 yrs. Lets not forget how the ever biased (and utterly clueless FA) all seem to have a very soft spot for JT, always seeming to protect him even hes probably doesnt deserve it.

Are you disgusted by the bad press he seems to be attract with dazzling ease or do you feel theres a witch hunt out on your beloved captain?

Before any Chelsea fans read this, I'd like to warn you that the OP is not an Arsenal fan.

Yeh, still can't get over his outcry about M'Baye Niang! and he's admitted he is black also!

You can clearly lipread what Terry said.and there is no excuse EVER for saying that. A lot of people have tried to get away with racist abuse by claiming it was said in a context similar to Terry but not been able to get away with it. The fact he is shows how appalling British justice is. He should be in prison now.

So he wont get a ban by the FA but Suarez did? That's a bit unfair!

in prison

He was never going to go to prison. And, frankly, he was never going to be found guilty. Biggest waste of time and money since the last one. Shame really, there was a good opportunity for the justice system to make a good point here - too much at stake I guess.

"JT still is one of the best CBs in the EPL & was easily our best player at the Euros after Gerrard."

This sentence alone proves you know absolutely nothing about football.

Was this meant to be on the Chelsea board?
