Why is it that even he does not understand that this was not a punishment handed out by the rest of the SPL clubs, nor by any clubs in fact. Its simply doing things by the book and following the rules! hang on, think I just answered my own question as they dont adhere to rules do they? Ally try to maintain some dignity and stop sniping at the rest of the clubs who simply didnt buckle when asked to bend the rules! "I fully supported the fans' views that starting again in Division Three maintains the sporting integrity that the SPL clubs were so keen on.
"The SPL clubs and the SFA have made their positions clear over the last few weeks and it remains to be seen what the long-term effects of their decisions will be.
"Rangers has been severely punished for the actions of some individuals who previously ran the club and it will take time for us to recover.
"But we will come back stronger thanks to the loyalty of the fans and the commitment of everyone at Ibrox who are working tirelessly to bring stability and success back."

I understand that and know fine that the new club will not mean any less to you or other fans and that I would feel the same if it was happening at Celtic.
But at the same time you must understand that scottish football fans (Celtic fans in particular) will never accept that the new club is the old club coz it's just to good of a stick to beat you with.

Ath.
I agree. Most Celtic fans will kid on, but in our eyes this newco will still be seen as Rangers.
Ok there'll be jesting and ribbing, arguments from both sides but you are still Ranges in my eyes. You now just have an incredibly big blemish on your history
