No Fear

Fully understand the nervousness felt by some supporters, BUT, having seen first hand how the Arabic world conducts business, I am not in the least surprised as to how the new owners are conducting the takeover.

This is in no way intended as a derogative comment; our new owners will be viewing the club as their new toy, and they will sure want to play with it & get the most out of the hype that the sporting press have generated. Think of a small boy with a very expensive toy & the fun that young man gets out of it when he first gets it, but fear not for that small boy grows into a very astute businessman, he will want his toy to better than all his mates toys’ – that is the Arab mind

For these very reasons I for one am very comfortable with our new owners, I feel sure that they will want the best for Forest, so that they have the best toy.

Hoons there's nothing racist in the slightest about his comment

Racism isn't necessarily to do with hatred, it's to do with making stereotypes. Just thought I'd make the point

So Belper-Red is racist/stereotyping the Arabs by calling them "astute"?

I really don't get your point Hoons

I saw the press conference and walk about on the news today.

It's great news for you guys but one thing worries me. Fawaz, hugged a fan and another fan was then interviewed and he said he hopes they do the right thing. The scene reminded me of the 'Doughty out' and the "we want our Billy back" chanting crowd but in reverse.

This is a fine line you tread because as Belper Red will agree, if you protest at their decisions there will be a problem.

Honestly, and I'm not wumming you, I hope it works out for you and it's not to long for us to find some ambition. My junior footy team has some dogs in it and they were very happy today, making the training session really fun.
