I think Young will always start ahead of Nani on the left and the right will be between Nani and Valencia. The only way I can see Young out of the team is if Kagawa is played on the left side or if Young is injured..

Young is underrated by a lot of our supporters and a lot of that is down to his England performances this summer but while he could have played better, Roys tactics don't really allow a lot of flair from the wings.

Young is our best option on the wide left and Sir Alex seems to have a lot of faith in him so I wouldn't be surprised if (fitness permitting) he starts at least 30-40 games this season.

while i'll admit that nani is better on the right the fact will always remain that he is still better than young on the left. No way should young start ahead of those two, unless it's the give either of them rest through the rotation system we practice at united.

Firsty, 'YATA!' and secondly, Young scores more goals than Nani (from the left) and is a bit more direct. Last season Young put in so many balls that the strikers just didn't take advantage of. Hopefully this year the players will have a better understanding of Young's crosses and will score more goals.

anyone think that maybe rooney and welbeck may also be utilised on the left?

And Young before Valencia is pure madness. Been done to death already on here. Young is not in same league as Tony or Nani.

Valencia is not as flexible as Young, as in fast attacking interchangeable football, like at the start of last season. Nani plays better on the right than Valencia. Young plays better on the left than Nani.
