Does FA think that it's higher authority?

Does FA think that its a higher authority than even CPS of England and that it is thinking about punishing John Terry despite him being proven innocent!

I think that this is ridiculous and I think that JT should sue FA and then claim money in compensation for putting him again in a ridiculous ordeal again!

As for JT and AF using swear words against each other that happens all the time and there is a lot of abuse and bad language used by fans in stadiums all the time so why should the two players be punished at this particular occasion?

As an avid QPR fan i think it is only fair John Terry signs for us along with Gerrard, Carroll and Ben Thatcher so that we can complete our team of thugs.

I think the FA will have difficulty regarding the racial element, I don't think you can argue the foul and abusive part.
Bear in mind, the FA banned Wayne Rooney for swearing at a camera and both Terry and Ferdinand have owned up to swearing in a court of law.

The charge could be bringing the game in disrepute, they would both have to be charged and if found guilty both given banns.

There is a lot of swearing and abuse shouted by players towards each other and at players by fans!
Its normal!

It does happen, yeah. Terry and Ferdinand are far from the first to use colourful language.
Referees generally let it go but technically, it is an offence.

Im pretty sure they cant charge him with racist abuse, as with Suarez, or Terry would actually have grounds to sue them for libel having been cleared by a court. Ungentlemanly conduct would be the most likely charge, if only because the case was high profile

Ronaldinlongname, It might be normal but it doesn't make it right. This isn't aimed at JT, it's not a wum post. The FA wants respect back in the game, you can't do that just by tackling the parts of the game that will get the most attention, racism, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism.

Criminal law isn't the same as the FA's rules. Just because he got found not guilty of one doesn't mean the FA can't puish him under their own rules.

Add to that the fact that Terry can be punished for racist abuse by the FA on the basis of probability, rather than having to prove it beyond reasonable doubt which was the only reason he got off in the court.

Didi

Correct, Just as O J Simpson was found not guilty of murder in a criminal court but later forced to pay damages for the murders by a civil court. Probability in civil actions, so Terry could still be found guilty by the F.A, however I doubt they will do so.
