Matt Jansen

Good luck to Jansen as his career takes a new direction. Enjoyed watching him play very much and have met him a few times in a work capacity since he stopped playing and can confirm he is polite, pleasant, well informed and likeable.

His story clearly highlights and goes to show that you never know what will happen in life and we must all make the best of things.

Never met him but always came across as a genuinely nice chap who just loved playing football. A stark contrast to the modern footballers

Will never forget his header against Preston to send us up, one of many great memories of the great man.

Why oh why did he have to go on that scooter!!!?!

Can you imagine what a management team of Flitcroft/Jansen would do to lift the doom and gloom around Ewood?
