Sandaza has been released by his club and the rumour is that he is going to be given a chance by Dundee United to prove his fitness. Could he be the man lined up to replace Goodie? Is this a good move for United? Thoughts please.

I would say no based on his injuries. I thought he didn't like it up here anyway? Although, if he stayed fit he has shown he has an eye for goal. Too big a gamble in my opinion though.

Was gutted when we released him. When fit he was a really good player. Great finisher, worked hard, good movement.
I would be happy to have him up and put him through his paces for 2 or 3 weeks. If he could get back fit and weight under control a 1 year contract or pay as you play could be a great bit of business.

Wasn't sad to see him go as he was such a sicknote, but give him minimum wage then a £1200 appearance bonus and we'll see how well he manages to stay fit...

£1200 appearance fee?? how about minimum wage and goalscoring bonus of £500 a goal??

Interesting thoughts. The rumour that I heard was that Aberdeen want him but he has agreed to come back and train with United. Could be a lot of rubbish but in my opinion if he could remain fit then he is the kind of player we will need if Goodie leaves.

I don't know how much truth there is in this story.
Did we not pay him off to tear up his original contract?
If so, it would be a pretty bizarre step to resign him again.
Rumour had it that the player was not very happy here, so I'm not sure if it would be a good move for the player or United.
I think I would rather see United recruit a new striker - one without a history of injury.

I'd rather have Casalinouvo back than Sandaza. Casalinouvo was fit most of the time but not liked by Houston. Not a chance Sandaza will be back.
