The greatest rivalry in cricket

rivaries are going to be different for different people. I dont expect english people to like india vs pakistan, because it means nothing to them. It is more of a personal thing. though if you talk about which one has a greater fan following then it has to be india vs pakistan. but oh well both rivaries and historic and fun to watch and that remain the case for years to come.

im being critical to all teams not just england. It happens to be englands turn since they are playing cricket currently and no other team is. SA have had gd results everywhere, even if dat had to be a draw. They dont have dat one sided result where at one place they win 3-0 and another they lose 3-0. I have critisised india aswell. U just have to have the guts to accept facts

Our record on the Sub-Con has indeed been miserable for a while due to our lack of ability to play quality spin well but there's no better time than this winter to rewrite some wrongs IMO...

India or Sri Lanka dont have anyone in the class of Ajmal who destroyed us earlier this year and I believe we have an attack capable of taking 20 wickets on your roads.

I quietly fancy us.

An indian or pakistani would love india vs Pakistan.
An English or oz would love The ashes.
Since I am none of the above ,I enjoy every cricket match as a neutral.
But to be honest I think The Ashes is the Greatest Cricket Rivalry.Ind vs Pak is more poliitical ,there is very little cricketing connection compared to the Ashes.
I love The Ashes more because of the way they are managed, more organized and beautiful stadiums, people talk about cricket.
But when its Ind vs Pak, its little cricket and more poliitical talk, the series is short about 3 matches, the stadium looks poorly managed.

So, for me Ashes is more intriguing in sense of cricketing rivalry than India vs Pakistan ,
In the same way Brazil vs Argentina football has more rivalry than India vs Pakistan football matches.

To be honest, in cricketing term I find greater rivalry in India vs Australia than India vs Pakistan.
