I was not expecting to pay £30 for a Championship game in the hills !

I heard this last night too.
Ridiculous price, not like it's luxury either is it? Wooden seats if you're lucky, rotted urinals and 1 little window to order food and drink at.
Having said that, it's a derby, there is a bit of Teton between the clubs due to Coyle and it's the first game of the season - I imagine that's how they'll justify that price.

I have been all over and aside from the baseball ground, it is the worst I have been to. You would have to pay me to go back.

You should be prepared to be paying at least £30 for every away game in the championship, it's just how it is I'm afraid

It seems harsh but these clubs don't have the Sky Millions to waste. They have to keep afloat by their smaller returns from TV rights, gate receipts and merchandise that they sell.
We know that the clubs in the Prem, have eared the right to higher rewards but the downside is the silly wages and other costs that go with the package.
