It won't be Strachan but why would anyone be so against him? Hugely successful with Celtic, got Southampton promoted from this league didn't he? And to an FA cup final. Was a decent manager with Coventry until that last season. Obviously the Boro job was a disaster but why do we expect to get someone much better. We currently have no senior defenders, an average ageing midfield and one decent striker. It's not guaranteed we will have the cash to rebuild. At this rate we need more than £20m to rebuild.

NO to hoddle. It'll be McClaren gate all over again. He'll be gone before christmas. Would it now not be best to go manager pinching? Eddie Howe at burnley? Decent job done there. Karl Robinson at MK Dons. We had an '' iconic '' manager 12 months ago and we all know how that turned out. It's not worth going down that road again. We need stability!
