Well the Bristol local rag has said that Sven has ended his interest in Maynard.
I really hope this is true because I am sure that his season will be plagued with injury and you dont need a £5million sicknote in your squad.
Im sure Sven will have a plan B and I think we have spent too much time and energy on a player who isnt desperate to play for us--lets just leave him in the championship with CMS

I'm sick and tired of hearing about this guy. If he doesn't know a good thing when he sees it, so be it. We move on, he stays put.

Apparently,now the Bristol newspaper has retracted it's statement, and apologised for quoting an 'LCFC spokesman', saying it should have been an 'LCFC source'; in today's LM, it is denied that city's interest has cooled.
