Final Score 2 !!!

Finally.......local media have acknowledged local football with the announcement of a new Irish League weekly highlights show. It's a positive step for the BBC to produce this MNS style show with "expert analysis" from various local football figures, which is bound to give the local game here a shot in the arm. However the disappointing thing is it's only going to be available online to begin with.

At least it is a start though, and hopefully viewing figures will suggest to the BBC that it deserves a slot on one of their TV stations on a week night some time in the near future. Well done to all involved.

I suppose if it's on-line it won't be available to ex-pats outside the UK either.

Still, it's a start I suppose (and easy to fast forward through the Linfield bits )

I would fast forward over the Linfield bits every time we play your lot.

Great idea and long overdue.
Well done BBCNI

Hope there is an interactive forum where we can all pass on our pearls of wisdom, vast intellect, superior knowledge
.....and then all get banned

Why are they putting it on line first? Why not just straight onto the old box? A step in the right direction, but until it goes straight on the telly, only a small one!

I hope Jacky Fullerton MBE comperes it. I know a lot of you hate him, but I think hes brilliant! He has a fantastic dry sense of humour. Not a bad footballer in his day and won an IPL medal with Crusaders. Also not a bad singer and a reasonable hand with a pair of gloves in the ring. I love Dairmuid Corr's take of Jackie as an estate agent. It cracks me up every time!

So it's finally here !!

A few tweeks required here and there with the set and sound, but a cracking first attempt. Can't understand why this can't be put on BBC2 NI on a Monday night. I mean at 7.00pm what do you have Escape to the fookin Country or some keek. Surely this show would pull in a few more viewers than that ??

A few tweaks with sound and set?

Looks like the set is in somebodys shed and the sound is recorded with a potato. Shocking.

But its the games that its all about. Job well done in that respect. As TPC says, this needs to be on the box pronto!
