Sad to hear the news about Rafa pulling out of the Olympics. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
Rest up Rafa. Tennis is the poorer without you.
To all those rubbing their hands in glee, shame on you. I hope you all know that wishing someone ill never leads to anything good.
What I want to know is if you feel this much hate for a decent young man who has done nothing other than make a successful career out of playing a sport, how do you feel about murderers and child abusers?
Wishing Rafa a speedy recovery

This just gets better and better.
'its clear that making comments at 6 am indicates that its not helping you sleep better at night'
You do realise that there are different time zones in the world yes? What makes you think I live in the UK. Not that it is any business of yours where I live but I'm 6 hours east of the UK. Don't you worry, I'm not losing any sleep whatsoever.

Tennisfan, god knows what time it is on his planet?

Actually Chesty, joking aside, someone who likens a tennis player to someone who is responsible for the extermination of millions can't be right in the head. Even supposing that Rafa was guilty as charged, how on earth does that equate to being compared with an evil monster?
Unbelievable hatred and I am only sorry I even engaged with this person.
I'm going to leave the post up so other posters can see just what type of person Veejay is and I will leave it to Admin if they want to delete the whole thread.

You 2 are still here ...LMAO..
Writing an autobiography at 25 = premature ejaculation..
The guy is barely a quarter of a century old, just out of his nappies and he wants to write a book about his life story she he's barely even lived...( well as he was exposed for the fraud he is,he never wrote it...does autobiography not mean it was written by the person ) Well what else can he write about apart from his fraudulent injuries
Apparently theres one part where he claims he has had a serious career ending injury, which could surface at any point in time..but he has it under control
Well 11 majors later, doesnt ever look like his career was threatened apart from the times he abused medical time outs to steal his opponents momentum from them and loses like 09 RG to Solderling and '12 Wimbledon to Rosol watered down to tendonitis...
You know what,Roddick plays with tendonitis too,has he ever blamed a loss to anyone because of that? Not once, even with his skewed h2h with Mr Federer, but Nadal chalks his loses to lower ranked players on his knees LMAO
Miraculously when he is winning his knees are fine,in fact, for someone who is "injured" that much he is miraculously never injured over the clay season
He doesnt even need toilet breaks to cure food poisoning,he just needed to cool Federer the one time Roger was blowing him off the court at RG by calling a medical time out to disrupt Rogers serving rhythm LOL
Amazing how his foot never needed taping again for the next 3+ hours when he was winning, only when he was losing
But kudos to him for bing so shrewd and outsmarting the rest of the pack by keeping phantom injury hidden in the closet ready to use whenever the going gets tough!!
I know I make a great writer, this is not news to me,perhaps to you but not me.You on the over hand wouldn't cut 8th grade with your writing and debating skills
Hawkeye, everyone knows its you, you're fooling no one but yourself...but if you insist on claiming you're from some different time zone,I would love to know which time zone is airing Richard and Judy
I mean their book clubs beats the likes Oprah Winfreys hands down and apparently their approval is sought by every writer on the planet
Hatred is hatred Hawkeye..dont use big words you clearly don't understand
A person could hate Nadal and Hilter at the same time,it doesnt automatically mean because both are hated they that they both committed the same crime ..duh!!!
Its about the emotion not the crime
Heres a little lesson for you.. you can hate people for different reasons,do you understand it now?
I would spell it out for you but you're acting like Homer Simpson so that may make things even more complicated for you then before...if you don't understand that by now you never will so lets leave it at that
"pushing little old ladies into traffic"
Lmao...spare me your wet dream...whatever does it for you but this isn't place to talk about ones fantasies Hawkeye
As of your little friend with the chest pains, looks like you're the last remaining person who hasnt filtered him
Like spirits attract I guess...

it wasnt ;greatest match ever'- but the way rosol played was extraordinary- surely you could see that?

Thank you for that enormous compliment.
If I was to be likened to one person on ja606 then I would pray to god, "my god" not the one who rules your planet that you picked tennisfan, far and away the most decent person on here.
Funny you keep sending clips of the "muppet "show of which you have the starring role
You hate Rafa Nadal and ja606 tennis is the perfect place for you to be. Enjoy.
How is the drug taking going? Still doing what it is supposed to be doing? I have never used the stuff so have no idea what it is about.
My life is perfect and I achieve all I achieve by hard work and honesty and when I am out in the town, I don't need "help" to gain a personality of some description, it all comes naturally, you sad bum thing.
How is adolf hitler?
One last thing, after reading through your last post and having to wake myself up 3 times it was that boring, are you comparing Rafa Nadal with Andy Roddick?

npe, it was a tremendous game of tennis, and funnily enough, whilst watching Rafa I have seen hundreds of them.
People on ja606 are calling it the best match of the year, and we know why?

I see what you mean...
but I like upsets and extraordinary outcomes. I would feel the same way if it involved other players in top 3-4 besides Nadal.
It was the most unexpected result, and probably the best first week match of a slam I have seen in AGES.
I admire Nadal for his determination, mental strength, and athleticism- but I find his tennis quite ugly tbh.

Fair enough mate. There are dozens of decent players on tour and we can't like them all. Djokovic bores the pants off me, and always will.
I think a Grand Slam final between Feds and Rafa wets the appetite and they always deliver too. If djokovic was playing in a wimbledon final for example against a player like berdych or nalbandian or earlier against Roddick then I would book a tee time and go and have a round of golf instead.

Thanks Chesty and npe for bringing normality back to the thread.
npe - agree that Rafa's game is not to everyone's liking and that is fine. Would be boring if we all liked the same things, and it does make for lively debate. I like that you can say that you don't like his game without insults and ridiculous accusations
As Chesty says, we can't like everyone on tour. I for one don't really like Soderling for example, but I think he is missed from the tour and wish him well with his recovery. (Or is it because he is serving a silent ban as some on here would have us believe ). His matches with Rafa always had that extra 'spice'. I get the feeling any future Nadal vs. Rosol matches will have spectators salivating at the prospect in the same way as Soderling vs. Rafa matches have in the past
