5* - Hoddle
4* - Billy D
3* - O'Driscoll
2* - Coppell
1* - Keane
By the time I publish this article, one of the above may be announced or even a completely different name. My question is though, of those named, who do you prefer? For the record, my vote would go to Billy.
Managerial VOTE - Who do the fans prefer?

I would love to have Billy back but with Mark Arthur still at the club I have serious doubts that would ever happen. I have heard those two really don't get along at all. I imagine Arthur has already slagged Billy off to the Al Hasawis and they are probably scared to death of him.
Speaking of Marthur, I'm guessing he is conducting the interview process himself as chief executive. He must be as delightful to talk to as he seems from his interviews. I mean every candidate he talks to immediately rules himself out of the job.
Also Is it just me or is the man the slowest working executive in the football league. It seems to take him an eternity to do anything, and in the meantime all the good prospects are already snapped up. Sound familiar?

No ok hate, that is a fair point.
The way I see it, a manager should be judged on what he don the pitch not off it, as is that not what he is employed for?
Billy knew the game, he knew how to get the players to play at their very best, and he knew how to unite the fans with the players. The way i see it, that is what made Forest so successful while he was here, the fans and the players have never been as united since billy left, and the players have never played at the same level as they were 2/3 seasons ago. i compare BC to BD, as this is what he did. He would criticize the fans if they did not get behind the team and like BC, BD did criticize the board. I know you go yes, but he wasn't successful, well I think that is crazy. The side who took over, he turned from relegation fodder to a side that no one wanted to play especially at home. Billy turned the club into one you could be seriously be proud of, and you would be excited not daunted to go down to the City ground. he united the club on the field, and knew how to play the media game being able to distract attention away from his players onto himself in big games. The decisions he made were controversial, but most were for the right reasons. Since Billy has gone the squad once again is relegation fodder and once again it is daunting to go down to the city ground. The relationship between the players and the fans has broken down, and the atmosphere is nothing like it has been in years, even when we were in a relegation fight 3 years ago which I think many of you still look back on, especially the Bristol City game which is still my favorite Forest game ever for the pure Euphoria.
Yes maybe some managers should not go back but this manager surely should, he would unite the team and the fans, and would get this team playing to it's potential again, and with backing, as i have said hundreds of time before, he is the man to lead us into the PL, and he wants to be that man as well!
So that is my point, hope you enjoyed!

It doesn't look like the new owners are particularly fussy, so why not Billy Davies?

I like Steve Coppell, mind you. One plus side is the way he sticks at things.

The thing with the SoD situation is, would it not have come out by now that Crawley have granted permission for SoD to speak to our owners?
Remember I think MM was at 1/12 to take over at Forest, and he didn't even have an interview!
I honestly don't think anyone has a genuine idea who it is and journalists are just using other journalist rumors, to make stories!

Right, the Kuwaiti journalist who came over as part of the Al-Hasawi entourage has just said that he now expects the manager to be named on Friday, before 6pm. He seems to be in the loop so if all goes well, we should know tomorrow. One more day won't hurt.
