i'll start it off, as im only a young-ish guy
i really want to say Yeboah the glower ... but not enough memories unfortunately
i would say mine is probably Gary Kelly or Nigel Martyn. both true professionals and always gave 110% in a leeds shirt.

Peter Lorimer - pure class and the hottest shot in football. Let's hope his "legend" status returns after Bates has long departed.

Stevie, a lot of people on here seem to discount what PL did for LUFC, bit sad to see him being ripped apart tbh .
i know someone will say "He's only himself to blame" , but i still think people should respect him for the great player he was .

Here's a little question for you's!..
When Lorimer was demolishing cross bars and making the keepers at that time quake!..
Who had the second hardest shot in football at that time?..

Highland ......
I may not agree with some of the tosh he puts in the paper or what he says. But he IS a legend of the club and deserves a bit more respect than he often gets.

Batts.
Too young to remember his first stint, but he was still a great midfielder during his second stint

Agreed. Still my favourite player.
I'm a member of a well-known gym chain and when in Leeds I use the local branch. I recently bumped into Peter Lorimer's brother-in-law who gave a little more insight into the current situation. (He was himself closely associated with Leeds United until Bates' arrival)
Lorimer is an employee after all and paid a wage for fulfilling certain duties.
I accept all of this and as you say he's remained a legend, my comments were more of a general nature viz-a-viz Leeds United fans but I do get frustrated when he openly contradicts his statements in the YEP.

I've always asked if anyone who's boss knows they do the talking, would they say anything against the bloke in charge of them when its their job to do as he says!..
Mind you, even in the not talking department its the workers job to do as the boss says, so a lot of "P45's shooting around if that's the case!..
